RETURN POLICY

It is our sincere hope that you will enjoy your selection. If you are not satisfied with your purchase please return it in its original condition and packaging within 45 days, accompanied by the original receipt. With a valid receipt we will offer you an exchange, refund (cash/check by mail) or credit your charge account depending on the method of payment.

MARINE CORPS EXCHANGE
MERCHANDISE RETURN CARD POLICY

Merchandise returned without a valid receipt, in its original condition and identified as current store merchandise, will receive a Marine Corps Merchandise Return card. When no receipt is available a Merchandise Return card will be issued for the last known sale price. Merchandise Return cards are valid only at the Marine Corps Exchanges and are good for up to nine years from date of issue. Merchandise Return Cards have no cash value and are not replaceable if lost or stolen.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

Cash, Checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Star Card, Marine Corps Exchange Gift Cards, NEX Gift Cards and AAFES Gift Cards are accepted at your Marine Corps Exchange for your shopping convenience. Patrons must present authorized Military ID for all purchases/returns

The following information is required on all check/return transactions:
Branch of service and rank
Location address and duty station
Home and work phone numbers

MERCHANDISE HOLDS

MCX regular-priced merchandise can be held for three (3) days. Future sales merchandise can’t be put on hold three (3) days prior to the ad. After the third day the merchandise will be returned to the sales floor if not purchased. We are unable to hold sale or marked down merchandise of any kind for any reason.

DISCOVERY ELECTRONICS

Discovery Electronic Merchandise returns in original condition and packaging within 14 days, accompanied by the original receipt. Details are posted in the Department. Pre recorded movies; music and video games are returnable in original unopened factory sealed packaging. If defective it will be/can be exchanged for an identical item.

FURNITURE MAJOR APPLIANCES

Any Appliance items that are defective within 14 days of purchase will be exchanged for a new item. After 14 days the manufactures warranty will be in effect and product performance problems must be resolved through the manufacturer’s warranty process. All Mattress purchases are returnable in unopened factory sealed packaging only.

SHOES, WATCHES & SUNGLASSES

Shoes, Watches and Sunglass returns in original condition and packaging within 45 days, accompanied by the original receipt. However, we cannot offer a refund or exchange for scratched or worn, watches, sunglasses, or shoes. Details are posted in the Departments.

FINE JEWELRY

Diamond Jewelry is subject to appraisal before a refund may be given.

PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE

MCX shall match any competitor's current, locally advertised price on any identical item sold by the MCX for the customer who makes a request. The customer is required to bring in a current ad from the local market area and request the same price as the advertised item for any difference greater than five dollars. Local market is defined as the geographic area shopped by local MCX customers, generally within a 50-mile radius of the MCX. Also included in the Price Match Guarantee, any item purchased from MCX and subsequently sold at a lower price by MCX or any local competitor within 14 days.

The only exception will be MCX special sales events, lasting less than a day, will not be covered by the price match policy.  

Double and triple coupons, clearance items, percent and dollar off items, going out of business sales, membership clubs, Internet prices, gasoline, special orders, tobacco, and commissary prices are excluded from the Price Match Guarantee program. Store and vendor rebates are also excluded from the program.

Competitor percent and dollar off price match, MCX will calculate the final sale price of the competitor’s item and match the MCX sale price to the final competitors sale price. Example 1:  Competitor’s item is $100 and 20% off, or $80.  Regular MCX price is $85.  MCX will price match down to $80.  Example 2: Competitor’s item is $100 and $20 off, or $80.  Regular MCX price is $85.  MCX will price match down to $80. 

If a competitor’s ad includes the quantity a customer can buy at an advertised price, the MCX will maintain the same quantity limitations.

The MCX will match the pricing of the Exchange Mail Order Catalog with the exception of those items purchased from overseas suppliers for which custom charges are applied.  Such items are annotated in the Exchange Catalog.

DSCP

DSCP returns in original condition and packaging within 14 days, accompanied by the original receipt.

Information presented on MCX-MCRDSANDIEGO.COM is considered public information and may be distributed or copied. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is requested. For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes. This information is collected to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. We collect e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and postal addresses of those individuals whom voluntarily provide such information. This information will not be distributed outside of the Marine Corps Exchange system, but will be used for internal purposes to provide advertising to those patrons who request this information.

Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.
